Reliable tool for isolating tubing during multi-stage hydraulic fracturing, acid treatment, cementing, well testing, and wellhead repairs
It utilizes electronic Setting Tool Phoenix or standard wireline or hydraulic setting tools, providing operators with a versatile and efficient solution for a variety of wellbore operations.

The client required pressure testing of an 11 ¾" (298.5 mm) casing string in an existing wellbore. The objective was to isolate the productive formation to allow pressure testing of the casing at 30 MPa overpressure—a challenging task for plugs of this diameter.
SYMOIL supplied a WRBP Plug designed for deployment and setting via slickline. This plug was selected for its robust sealing performance and ability to withstand high differential pressures. The plug was deployed using PHOENIX, an electronic setting tool that enables precise placement in deviated wells using slickline.
The WRBP was deployed into the well on slickline and set inside the 11 ¾" casing at a depth of 2,374 m in a single run, without requiring additional equipment
The well was deviated and filled with heavy drilling mud at a density of 1.8 g/cm³. The plug was set using the PHOENIX electronic setting tool
A secure pressure barrier was established and successfully held 34 MPa, providing full isolation of the casing interior. The casing was then pressure-tested to 30 MPa, confirming the plug’s reliable performance
After testing, the WRBP was successfully retrieved using a standard fishing tool on drill pipe
