Installed above the ball seat, the sleeve is activated hydraulically by applying pressure after the ball is dropped and seated. Once the activation pressure is reached, the sleeve shifts, opening the frac ports and establishing direct communication with the formation.

A reclosable configuration is available, allowing the sleeve to be closed after fracturing when zonal isolation or flow control is required. The design can also be modified for cemented liner applications, providing flexibility across various well conditions and completion types.
