By utilizing maximum-size dissolvable balls, the Nova Frac Sleeve minimizes flow restrictions after stimulation. Once the balls have dissolved, the wellbore is left virtually unrestricted for production. The sleeves can then be selectively closed or reopened using the Flex Shifting Tool on coiled tubing — allowing operators to isolate gas or water zones, shut off intervals, or perform full well recompletions when required. Sleeves can also be locked in the open position for continuous production.
